2013 - 2016 update

This is the blog I use to apply for jobs, so I send it to possible clients all the time. However, it is badly in need of an update. The reason the blog hasn't been updated since 2013 is simply that I have been too busy working.

the past couple of years I have been more focused on teaching animation than making it myself. I have taken assignments along the way, time permitting.

I have still kept busy with both animating and drawing. Mostly through my instagram:

other stuff I'm involved in:
-Commercial for a nurses union done in CC animate, it's posted under "animations".
-Acting as producer on the graduation films from Odense Fagskole (Ofag.dk), keeping projects together and making sure deadlines were met and the students had good movies to show.
-Illustration jobs that fit into my teaching schedule. Helping friends with logo design, etc.
-Voice acting for 3 short films done by a colleague, commercials for afterschool activities in my local area.
-Videogame design and animation in cooperation with friends, pet project in development.
-I have also started a series of animation exercises, which are on my instagram, but I will add them to "projects" when I have enough to bundle.

I will be updating my showreel, Portfolio and CV for 2017 and moving forward.

Since this blog has been so quiet for over a year I thought I would just update on what I have been doing.
For most of 2012 I worked as an animation teacher 3 days a week, which gave me some time to work on other small exciting projects.
Some of 2012 and until July 2013 I have been working on a game called "huxville" which is a Massive Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Game (MMORPG) for 10 year olds. The game can be found in 16 country servers, with .com and .dk being among them.

I have been doing short clips and movies (in Flash) for the game as well as early animation for 3D characters(in Maya) and it has been a fun project to be a part of!

New and improved showreel

Hello you,

Now I have updated my showreel for the start of 2012 and I have put some of my more recent work in. I helped make games this year, both 2D and 3D. A shortfilm saw the light of day and I went from being a student of the game to being an animation teacher.

The reason I write the FIRST of the year is because right now I am working on a short film which is very fantasy inspirered and I am hoping to throw up some stuff from that as soon as we finish production around march. So far it looks incredible!

I also put some sketches in my portfolio that were part of my sketchbook. I filled it out in six months which is the fastest I have done. The reason is that I travel more now so I have an opportunity to draw on the train or plane or at the place I stay instead of turning on the tv. I have never been so happy about drawing and animation as I am now and it feels good!

Adding stuff

Moving around

I added my bachelor film to the blog today. I put it under my showreel and at the same time I moved the "en fisks lange rejse" film to my "animations" page. I know that I spread it out a little, but I want my "showreel" page to be very much my showreel. So I will put short films under it for a while, and then eventually move it to the animations page. For some reason my blog won't show the widescreen youtube videos, so for a better view please go to the links i posted below each film, unless you love watching half of a film :)

Welcome! Come on in and have something!

I am free! and ready to move forward into some cool animation type stuff! I'm living my life! I am drawing and animating! Making music and loving it! and moving up in the karate Kyu's!(9. kyu right now)
I will be looking for some cool projects to work on in Copenhagen while fiddling with my own little ideas on the side. check out my portfolio and showreel for a glimpse of what I can do. Also check out the "projects" periodically to see what is going on in my own mind.

Internship at Fabulab, Copenhagen.

I am right now enjoying a four month internship at Fabulab in Copenhagen Denmark. I have been thrown directly into the mix and is currently working on a short film. I will post whatever I can from that short but in the beginning it will be mostly things that look good but were cut out of the film. This is until I find out Which of my official works I can legally take with me and use for Showreel and portfolio.
So I will be posting some sketches under "Sketches" in the side menu.
